About

WELCOME TO JOLIE FLEUR WREATHS

Hello and Welcome to Jolie Fleur Wreaths.

I hope you enjoy my faux flower creations. Each one is unique, lovingly handcrafted and filled with my time and love. I'm inspired by nature and my favourite artworks of the Pre-Raphaelites and William Morris. I love nature's tumbles of lush foliage, fairytale inspired flowers, berries and blossoms so I use the best quality faux flowers and foliage to create designs that will enhance any home, from rustic and cottage styled to slick modern. I carefully pick silk and fabric flowers that look real but will last years to come.

I want my customers to love their wreath as much as I loved making it. If you can’t see quite what you have in mind, please drop me a message to discuss your vision.

My creations are beautifully gift wrapped and carefully boxed so you can enjoy opening them at home or have them sent straight to the recipient if you are sending as a gift.

Orders of 'ready to dispatch' products are sent out promptly. Commissions take approximately 7 - 10 days.

I hope you enjoy browsing. Thank you for visiting and remember, wreaths are not just for Christmas, stylish people have them all year round and in every room!

Best Wishes,

Nicola x

'Nicola has a fantastic eye for design. And you can tell her wreaths have been made with care and attention to detail. Everyday when I get home, I smile at how pretty my front door looks. As soon as the seasons change I will be  buying a new one to match the time of year.'

About Me.

I'm Nicola, I started making wreaths for my front door. What started as one wreath idea quickly grew and before long I had wreaths and flowers everywhere!

Family and friends requested wreaths in their favourite colours so I made more and more.

Eventually, I took the leap into selling at markets which was scary but turned out to be fun. I love chatty, interested people.

My first buyers at my first market were on a romantic anniversary weekend and bought a wreath to commemorate their special date. How lovely was that? I was so happy to chat with them about their life together and watch them set off home with one of my favourite wreaths.

If you have a question or idea for a gift, please message me below. Let's chat...

  • How can I hang my wreath?
There are lots of wreath hangers out there but Command do some good ones. There are even suction cup ones for upvc doors. Be careful when selecting your hanger as some over the door metal ones can damage the weather proofing of upvc doors. Personally, I prefer sticker ones that you can move.
  • What do you use to build the wreaths?
The rustic wreaths are built on natural grapevines. These can be made of wood, twig or vines. Flat backed wreaths are built on bases made from dry oasis (like the green ones that hold on to water - but dry ones are grey and don't hold water in!) The oasis sit in a plastic tray so they don't move. I then hand wrap each one in natural jute so they look pretty.
  • How is my wreath packaged for transit?
Wreaths are carefully tied into their box using pipe cleaners so they don't move on their journey. They are wrapped in bubble wrap just for extra security. They are topped off with tissue paper and then taped securely in their posting box.
  • Are your flowers real?
No, they are all artificial. I have carefully sourced all the florals and foliage and use the best quality silks, fabric, plastic and even wax. They look amazingly realistic but they will last for years.
  • How will I care for my wreath?
With a little bit of care your wreath will last for many years. I recommend that you protect them from the worst winter storms but they will withstand rainfall and winds - just not too much. If they get a little dusty, give them a shake or a quick blast with a hairdryer on a cool heat. They really are quite resilient. Similarly if the weather is really sub zero it is worth bringing your wreath inside. The glues are very resistant to damage but sometimes berries can pop. Likewise, if your wreath is going to be in a full sun position it is worth spraying it with a UV spray to help it avoid fading.
